The best EUC money can buy is now the Veteran Sherman Max. The third version of this venerable beast has had upgrades in a number of key areas that keep it at the head of the EUC pack.
Its enormous 3200Wh battery has been given a boost to an incredible 3600Wh meaning a spec range of 230km. This should translate to a realistic riding range of 150-180km under average riding conditions. The previous 2500 watt motor has been upgraded to 2800 watts to provide that extra oomph of torque (20% more!) for when you need it most.
Smaller upgrades include an available 8 amp charger, thicker motor phase wires for increased power transfer to your torquey motor, and a re-designed pedal bracket means this is more than just a mild facelift.
Its standard Kenda 262 knobby tire provides excellent traction and performance, while its famous roll cage protects the wheel in case of falls. The Veteran Sherman Max really is still the wheel to beat.

I have over 1000 miles now on my shermax. Grizza pads and wolverine pedals right now. Super stable, tire pressure at 30 makes you forget it’s not a suspension wheel. Super torquey and fast. My daily go to and a absolute favorite.
The Sherman Max is a grade wheel. Both sturdy and reliable. Nothing negative to say only positive. Love the tire and the roll cage is awesome. I can see the display panel day and night. Great wheel you guys thanks eevee’s
The wheel is great, no problems, however do NOT try jumps with it that will bend the rim if you are above 150 lbs. but overall this wheel is just good at everything just I find not that exiting I get beeps at 65 kmh and get 110 km range on it (I'm 200 lbs with gear) But of you arnt a planning on going crazy on it and want a trusty reliable wheel this is for you, best non suspension wheel.
After doing a ton of research and pre-ordering a KS-16X, I decided to try a few wheels while I waited for my pre-order to arrive. Took 2 free lessons from Eevee's (a great way of trying a couple different things), and tried some friends' wheels (Mten 3, V11, V12, 16X, 18XL, S18), and decided to swap my order for the mighty Sherman Max, as I felt in the long run, it would be better for what I was looking for.
At first, I was like omg, what have I done?! (especially when I was bringing the box upstairs to my place). But after close to 100km on it, I'm super stoked, and feel like I made the right decision! It is very, very heavy (for me, at least), and I'm building up muscles I didn't even know I had (so much aches on the first few days lol). But then it just started getting comfortable, like extremely comfortable. It has the range and fun factor I was looking for on the 16X, plus a ton of headroom for speed, so I'm not afraid of cutting out anymore. Even though it's heavy, it's quite manageable after you get the hang of it, even at low speeds.
I guess you can't go wrong with this wheel!
This is one sweet ride. I'm a new rider and have put on 300km on the wheel (and counting) and that includes a commute from Surrey to Burnaby. Very capable wheel that is as comfortable on the streets as it is on single track gravel/dirt. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun way to get around.
