InMotion V12 HT (High Torque)

The V-12 Ht has been well covered here, nimble, powerful & arguably more rider-control options than the rest of the field combined. Love it. I had an issue with, what I thought was the battery (mercifully it turned out to be a faulty charger). Shout out to Eevee's & Gavin for dealing with it quickly & painlessly. What a wheel!

The good:
- awesome torque
- beefy rim
- water resistance
- stable for a 16 inch wheel

The bad:
- tire not aligned
- weird balance bug (wheel doesn't go back into 0 degree after pedal dipping appeared - last software update didn't fix the issue)
- axle makes knocking sound, it's in the repair shop after one week of riding
- low quality LCD panel (it's nice to have one but it barely recognizes input and it's too dark in a sunny environment)

Generally a nimble, compact and fast wheel. Could be great, if QC would do a better job.

As a novice wheeler it took me 6 months to figure out a V10 couldn’t handle the hills of Coquitlam and Maple Ridge. so I upgraded to the V12 HT. After three weeks riding the verdict: a great hill climber so mission accomplished. Also great improvement for gravel road and trail riding. No issues with mosfet or cut-outs in this short time. Only downside - it is freaking heavy! But that gives more stability so a mixed blessing. Overall a great wheel and can’t stay off it when not still using the V10 for short flat commutes.

This is my 5th wheel and my 3rd wheel from Eevee’s. Coming from 16x as my first wheel, I always love the 16 inch size for its nimbleness and fun factor. V12HT is hands down the best 16 inch wheel on the market.

I’ve put almost 15000 km on my EXN, most in the world according to DarknessBot LOL and over 10000 on my MSP, so that is my comparison. I have over 700 km on the V12HT. Cons, not as much torque as EXN or MSP but still lots of torque, make sure you check the 4 bolts that are used for pedal height adjustment one side the bolts were loose and the other over tightened and I was barley able to remove them and salvage the threads. V12 does not run as cool as I thought it would. When riding with RS HT on single track the RS was in mid 65c and I reached 73c. Pros, lots of ability to adjust the ride characteristics, high pedals great for single track but takes getting use to, sound wave feature is great for people hearing you coming, I love the tire, automatic lights awesome, touch screen good, much less pedal dipping, better ergonomics, better speakers. Better water resistance. In short EXN and MSP higher performance, V12 more luxury
