Love this wheel!

First, let me start off by saying, I love everything about this wheel!
Now, I'm a new EUC rider. So, admittedly my comparables are, well to say the least, incredibly limited. More specifically, non existent. So, with that being said, take everything that follows with a grain of salt.
Shipping to, Ontario, was very fast.
My initial impressions upon opening the box and after a quick inspection, were very positive. It's a slick lookin' machine, to say the least!
Upon the initial start up, everything functioned as it should. I did the horizontal calibration, checked for updates and hopped on to begin my journey, as a new rider.
A few weeks in and after some struggle, I finally realized my horizontal calibration was slightly off. This was because I calibrated it while sitting in the foam it was shipped in. So, if this is how you calibrate yours once you get it, be more astute than I and be sure it's level.
Now that I've corrected the calibration, things are starting to click.
I'm a larger rider at almost 6'1" and am rounghly 210 lbs. fully geared. The suspension feels nice and smooth and seems to handle me, no problem.
I did move the pedals forward, as this appeared to improve my control when I stood forward on them. I'm unsure if this is a result of my larger size, or ignorance as to what I'm doing at the moment. So, perhaps something to be aware of if your a larger rider.
All in all, I'd 100% recommend this wheel!
I can't wait to get out there and REALLY start riding!

The best EUC on the market -hands down!

I’ve ridden over 500 KM’s on this beast and have to say that it is one of the most stable rides I’ve ever been on! (I’ve tried 7 different EUC’s) I was recently in Kelowna, BC and did a ride to the Myra Canyon Trestles and back (about 60 KM’s) going up the side of the mountain was a really rocky, unpaved service road that was at a 25-30% grade for over 8 KM’s. It was the middle of nowhere so I had range anxiety. I’m 230 lbs and ride around 40 km/h on average so -ya- range anxiety! So, not only was I able to get to the top of this amazing climb but I also enjoyed going through the 12 KM stretch of 18 trestles and 2 tunnels (thank goodness for the S22’s auto lights!) but I was able to get back to the hotel with 40% left on my battery! Amazing! (I only charge it to 90%). The regenerative breaking added a full 15% to the battery on the way down from the mountain at the other end of the trestle run. I have also done trail riding with some friends and I am able to kick their asses going up some of the climbs! The suspension helps me hit some of the jumps on the trail and eases the landing for me! I love this unit! Highly recommend!

Smooooooooth

What an awesome upgrade from the S18. I really enjoyed riding the S18 but this new wheel has spoiled me. More power and torque than the S18 and incredibly smooth suspension. The bumps and drops just disappear. Might not be the most powerful wheel out there but it’s definitely the smoothest ride with more than enough power for the average rider. Highly recommend.

So different

My first impression was the weight and width compared to v10f and GotWay msuper v3. Had trouble calibrating it but finally got it. With my weight (138lbs) I need the lowest suspension setting to feel comfortable, I also switched the pedals to a more forward position. Got rid of the boomerangs. Once I lower the suspension geometry it should be a lot enjoyable.

Incredible

Coming from an InMotion V8, the S22 feels like a dream. I have been using it for two weeks and barely touched the family vehicle (unless I need to take the kids somewhere). I've gone across the city and back, barely losing time on cars. The suspension and large tire smooth out the bumps and allow me to maintain car-like speeds on side streets and (empty) bike paths. It has become the vehicle replacement that I hoped it would be. I often find myself extending my commute (or taking the scenic route) because I enjoy it so much. The only downside so far: going fast drastically reduces the range. I expect at 50-60km/h I'll get about 70km (with the last 10ish km being throttled).
