A torque beast that chews up the slopes.

The Meepo NLS Belt is Meepo's first ever belt drive board. With a top speed of 36km/h, a range of 30km, and two sets of wheels including the 110mm Cloudwheels (and 85mm standard wheels), this board is a great bang for your buck.

The NLS Belt uses Samsung 40T 10S2P batteries with a very high 50A discharge rate. These batteries will last longer and offer very little voltage sag. Belt drive eSkateboards offer better torque but slower top speeds. If you're looking for a great belt drive eSkateboard at an affordable price, then the NLS Belt is an excellent choice!

At my weight (240lb) the range is only about 20km, but the top speed is still 37km/h. Good amount of flex; trucks and bushings are solid, though I needed a fair amount of loosening on the front for sharper handling. Acceleration control is very gradual (or fast if you want it) and easy to handle, as well as the brakes. Very fun to rip around on or just cruise.

Biggest problem so far is screws coming loose and falling out from vibration. Each of the two rotors are held onto brackets by four hex bolts, within the red casing. On my second ride the casing started rattling and the belt squealed loudly. All four bolts had fallen out, never noticed it happen. Took two bolts from the other rotor to reattach it, less than five minutes after riding again, same thing happened and both bolts were gone. Bought new bolts and some Loctite, seems to have solved the problem for now. The hex bolts that came installed on the rotor brackets and casing, as well as the provided hex key both seem cheap and soft, and rounded out far too easily to the point they no longer worked after only a few uses.

While it is a fun ride, the range and the issues with the screws make it hard to say whether or not this board is worth the price.

I was telling my son the other day that you can have all the skis, snowboards, skate/longboards, motorcycles and cars I've owned in my life and none of them equals the exhilaration of my E-Board
